The maker
Hi, I'm the hands behind Pillows & Stuff
I sew because I can't not. It's as simple — and as complicated — as that.
How it all started
It started with a love of fabric, color, and the joy of making something with my own two hands. Growing up in Houston, I was always drawn to crafting — sewing pillows, stitching aprons, putting together little things that made a house feel like a home.
I started making seasonal pieces — football pillows for game day, Halloween wreaths for the front door, Christmas stockings for the mantle — and friends kept asking where they could get one. Along the way I fell in love with rustic vintage fabrics too: toile prints, script patterns, earthy solids that feel timeless and collected. So I started selling at local Houston markets, and the response was more than I ever expected.
Today, every pillow, apron, and rustic vintage piece is still made by hand, one at a time, in my Houston studio. I also make custom aprons for parties and events — painting parties, cooking classes, pottery nights, kids' birthdays — in any fabric, any size, any quantity. The collection changes with the seasons, because there's always something worth celebrating.
What I believe in
Made with intention
Every item is sewn and crafted one at a time. I don't rush the process — good things take time.
Quality fabrics & materials
I choose fabrics and materials I'd want in my own home — durable, beautiful, and made to last.
Truly one-of-a-kind
No two pieces are identical. That's not a flaw — it's the whole point of handmade.
How I make things
Choose the fabric
I start by sourcing seasonal and themed fabrics — football prints, Halloween patterns, holiday plaids, spring florals. I make every effort to upcycle fabric and have found local shops that will donate fabric.k
Cut & sew by hand
Every pillow, apron, and liner is cut and sewn by hand in my Houston studio. This is the part I love most.
Finish with care
I take time with every seam, every button, every bow. The details are what make a handmade piece special.
Find it a home
At markets or through this site, each piece finds the person it was meant for. That part never gets old.
